Harlo Tidbits

This little lady is getting extremely independent.
Her favorite things to do these days are brush her teeth, feed herself with a fork and picking out her clothes.
She is as sweet and sassy as can be! Sometimes she'll come up and pull my hair for no reason, others she'll come throw her arms around my neck and give me kisses. I just love this age!
She loves my boss "Uncle Richard" or "Wicha" as she calls him, it took her a good week or two to warm up, but now she barely leaves his side.. just as I'd predicted!
When I put her in the car, if it's warm out, she'll say "HHHHOT!" (poor lady will really see what "hot" is in the next few weeks when it's over 100 degrees!)
She loves to listen to music in the car, if I forget to turn it on (even as we're pulling out of our driveway) she'll say "mommy!" and when I look back she'll bounce her head like she's dancing. We have favorite songs on the radio and as soon as they come on she'll hurry and look at me with a big grin on her face. She loves John Mayer and everytime we hear it she'll ask "that Papa?" I think she thinks any guitar she hears, it must be Papa.
She's been standing on her own a lot more and loves holding our hands to walk. She walks with no support from us, but insists on holding a hand! Silly girl.
Each and everyday with Harlo is such a fun adventure. She's my very best little pal and I feel so lucky that she's mine.

The Weekly Bump

I should really change the name of this post to "the monthly bump", but I'm still doing about 40 times better than I did with my first pregnancy, from which I have 3 belly pictures :)

My belly and myself are still doing fabulously.
At our appointment today we were notified that Little Miss S has flipped head down where she should stay put until her debut. Very good news!
She moves around in there like a mad woman. She is constantly moving and kicking and wiggling, I've noticed she especially likes yoga. She also thinks it's hysterical to kick my books while I'm reading and make me lose my place, her dad thinks that's hilarious as well.
Harlo loves snuggling with me lately, she throws her body across my belly with her head on my chest and her legs around my hips. Baby S will kick her like crazy and Harlo wiggles around everytime she feels the baby move. I don't think she grasps that it's the baby that's moving in there, but she can clearly feel it.
Harlo gives my belly button a kiss about every 10 minutes (because she has pinned the belly button as the baby.. don't ask me.) and tells her "hi" every few minutes and brings her toys to play with. I doubt this baby will lack any love when she gets here =)
We started our bradley classes last night, which I'm really excited about. It will be nice to have them every week until deliver, it's our new date night. I'm slowly feeling more prepared for my delivery, I'm at least getting really excited about it.
So, aside from my growing (sometimes nuisance of a) belly, and the occasional braxton hicks.. I've never been better.

Hoppy Easter!

Easter is quite easily my very, VERY favorite holiday! To my delighted surprise, I believe it's Harlo's as well. The funnest part about having my own family is being able to carry over the traditions from my childhood (along with Brady's.. except for I guess I remember lots more of mine :) and adding new traditions as well.
The Easter bunny was good to us this year... he even brought the new little one an easter basket! He hid the Easter baskets pretty sneakily, so I thought we'd have to help Harlo a bit, but she actually did it all by herself! That Easter bunny knows what he's doing...
This is what mornings look like at our house... I had to remind them it was Easter.
Itty wonders if the Easter bunny came.
Well, let's go see!
SPOTTED! (note again: we did not help AT ALL, she's amazing.)

That Easter bunny even knows what types of "treats" we allow... amazing!
New outfit..
New jammies..
Here goes! Her first fruit snack :) (organic, of course!)
She spit it right out! What a good girl. ha
But I think she was pleased with the other Easter gifts.
Easter was such a blast! It was so fun to experience it through Harlo's eyes this year. I'm sure it will just get more fun as the years go by.
