Harlo Tidbits

I feel like my little baby infant turned into a pre-toddler right before my very eyes in the last week! Can you stop growing so fast? Please?

She now tries to mimick things you tell her to say. Today I said "buh-bye!" and she said "buh, buh" It probably doesn't really qualify for saying "bye-bye" but she's definitely trying to figure it out.
She loves cheese. I cut up little cubes that she can feed herself. At first she was just picking out the cheerios (did I mention she eats real cheerios now?) but lately she's been picking out the cheeses. (as I'm typing this she's figured out how to throw bits of cheese to Itty.. this should be fun!)
She CRAWLS. She's still a little slow, not covering too much ground at a time, but I think by the end of the weekend I'll be whistling a different tune.
She's such a daddy's girl, it's ridiculous! From day one she's had a preference for Daddy, but now if he leaves the room she cries, or if even I try to take her from him, she cries!

Maizee-Daisy-Doo

Maizee-Daisy came to play today. She's moving next weekend, so we're trying to get as much time with her as possible this week! Unfortunately, Brak was having "boy time" so we didn't hang today, but it was nice to just have the girls for the day (and even nicer when both girls fell asleep for 2 hours!)
I just had a class with Errin Andrus yesterday and I needed to practice my newly learned skills. Harlo needed a break from being the model. Maizee was glad to step up to the plate, my little poser-girl. She had me laughing all afternoon. Here is this silly little girl...

Labor Day 09

So this year for labor day we had a fabulous family reunion in Pine Valley. The whole family camped from Friday til Sunday and they were graced with our presence Saturday afternoon (you know, because we don't camp...) We had such a fun time, I love Brady's Mama's family. Too bad our child refused to talk or look at anyone besides her daddy the whole entire time, because they sure do love her...

This is me being a little worried about losing cell service, and dealing with wildlife creatures. Eek!
I didn't get a picture of all the girls and I'm kicking myself.. they all matched and we didn't even plan it! I love matchy-matchiness!
Harlo with her yum-yum-yummy fruit loop necklace... I didn't even have a panic attack about the sugar intake.. as long as she wasn't screaming, all was well.

Look at that face!
Harlo and I usually NEVER get pictures because I'm usually the one taking them, but I think Brady wanted to remember this huge event of me out in the wilderness, so he managed to get a few in.
This is as close to Harlo as I could get without her crying for her Dad. I'm serious.

Papa Charlie, striking a pose.
Harlo and Maycee girl.. Maycee was a little nervous, Harlo was after her hair/necklace, so she decided she'd attend the picture from a far.

Harlo sporting her cutest jeans ever... I can't wait til it cools down so she can wear them everyday. So cute!

The ONLY person Harlo let hold her for over 10 seconds was Uncle Randy.. I don't blame her, I love Uncle Randy =) (although, I'm pretty sure she thought it was Pops.. the facial hair gets her everytime.)

Brady left his sunglasses at home.. doesn't he look so cute in mine??

Despite Harlo being overwhelmed, we had such a fun day. I know I made her sound like a monster child, but she really was good.. as long as Brady was holding her.
Can't wait for next year! We might even stay a night!! (well.. probably not, but here's to hoping!)

My Little Bestie

She really is my best little pal, we love to do everything together. Cleaning, cooking, shopping... and reading! Such a big girl...
Her latest silly thing (the fake coughing and shaking of the head has become slightly less frequent) is squinting! She does it at such random times, but I finally got a picture of it the other night when she was eating. There were no bright lights in her eyes or anything, she was just squting away!
She's such a funny little girl. Little things like this I find so funny from these tiny little people. It's so much fun to see their little personalities develope from the very beginning.
