I hosted my very first thanksgiving this year and it was fabulous! We had steamed carrots, turkey, asparagus, green bean casserole, mashed potatoes & gravy.. all sorts of deliciousness! It turned out really well, it was small and simple but very fun. Harlo slept clear through dinner, which was actually kind of nice to eat in peace and not have her saying "mom!" with her hand held out for me to give her something every 2 seconds :)

Of course, when she woke up she enjoyed all thanksgiving had to offer. Auntie, Pops, and yummy food! All her faves.

This year I am more thankful than you could ever imagine. I have such a beautiful healthy family, I have the best sisters in the world... life really doesn't get any sweeter than this.
And a very special thanks to these two special people:
You guys truly make my life worth living. ♥

Lucky Number Eleven

{ELEVEN MONTHS}
Is it true she'll be one YEAR old in just 1 teeny tiny month?
  • She'll tell you what an owl {hoo-hoo} and a kitty {mowm} says
  • She pulls up to standing position on the couch, coffee table, bed, etc.
  • She says "uh-Ohhh" (and the "oh" is very emphasized by her lips)
  • She blows kisses
  • She LOVES the ABC's, and she'll sit still anywhere she is if I sing it to her.
  • She loves, loves, LOVES blueberries!
  • She likes to walk while we hold her hands and is getting pretty quick at it.
  • Her hair is finally long enough to clip a bow in it with NO headband! YEAH!!

She is such a funny little girl, she keep us laughing constantly.. she's starting to be a little more mischievous, but I still just get a kick out of her.

We're on the official countdown to her first birthday bash!

New Family Pictures

This is my 100th Post! Crazy, crazy.
Anyway, we got our family pictures done by Errin Andrus (of course!) She has taken all of our family pictures in the history of our family and we plan on letting her capture many more years of love and growth to come :)

Zion

{Nov 08}

Last weekend we went to Zion/Springdale and it was sooo nice! We stopped on the way to see the ostrich farm and to my delighted surprise there were babies there. They were so cute and tiny. Harlo loved them, except she didn't really believe me when I was saying "look at the birdies!"
It was so beautiful there this time of year, I recommend taking the family out. So pretty.

MEOW!

Have you ever seen a cuter kitty?

I tried to be a mama kitty, but I sort of ended up looking like Amy Whinehouse kitty with my big hair and crazy make-up... you can't really tell in these pictures but there was a striking resemblence. ;)
we just couldn't stop lovin on this cute kitty of ours!

She totally smiles now when you get out the camera, can you tell her mom is a photographer? :)
We had such a fun time... Itty was a bumble bee but sadly we didn't get a picture of the girls together.. we really may need to re-do this Halloween for a photo session.
Happy Halloween!!
