The Pups

A lot of people have been asking how our little pups are adjusting to the new baby... well here is a good example of how things have gone since we've been home with Harlo.

Tubby Time!

Yep, Harlo was 5 days old =) she's so smart!

She's lovin' her hair washed!

Harlo loved bath time!! She loves to have her hair washed and didn't make a peep the whole time! She is such a good baby, we are having so much fun with her! We had our doctors appointment on Wednesday and she's lost some weight (which is normal) Our tiny angel only weighed 6 lbs 2 oz, so we go back in on Friday to make sure she's putting some on now that my milk supply is in. =) She also looked a little yellow while we were there so we had to get her bilirubin checked again and it was just slightly high, so we went back today and just got a call that everything is going down so we're good! No lights for this little lady, YAY!! She was so good too, she didn't even make a peep when they poked her heel, BOTH days. She's been sleeping really well now and we're really just getting our whole schedule down. This is DEFINITELY the best job i've ever had!

So, after 26 hours of labor (18 of which were in the hospital) and a few sleepless nights, our little Harlo is here! She is absolutely perfect!! I couldn't have dreamed of a more beautiful baby girl. She's been eating really well and sleeping really well and we're just trying to get our own little system down now that we're on our own. Brady is such a good daddy! I really am so blessed to have such an amazing husband, he has been so helpful and supportive and I wouldn't want to ever do this with anyone else. Thanks to everyone for all the help we're getting... we're definitely spoiled around here. I don't think I've lifted a finger since she's been out! Anyway, here are a few pictures of our little bundle! Isn't she fabulous?!

Sweet Baby Harlo!

Hey Everybody, this is Chelsea just posting for Cassidy and Brady. They had their beautiful baby girl this afternoon at 2:50. She weighed 6lbs. 14oz. and was 19 inches long. She has tons of thick black hair and is just tiny! Labor and delivery went really well, and they are all doing so good! She will post and keep you updated when she is home and in the swing of things! Congratulations Miller Family! We Love You!!

& I'm still pregnant!

So, now I'm a 3 and 75% effaced. I'm really glad I made that progress, but I have to admit, I wouldn't have been sad if I was a 10 and ready to go right then =)
Sleeping is now a part of my past... I am not comfortable sitting, standing, laying on my back, on my side, walking, talking, running, jumping... I am NOT comfortable and I'm hot. Really hot. (my husband says I'm smokin' hot, but I don't think he meant as literally as he really could!) I've been tying to talk the baby into coming out... turns out, she doesn't like being told what to do... (I have NO idea where she gets that!) I'll keep you all updated, but I really hope that my next update will be... "she's here!"

.pregnancy update&family/maternity photos.

Well my good friend Errin started doing photography conveniently a few months ago and wanted to take our pictures... With so much going on this month I was not stressing about it, but was very pleased when Errin said she would just come right to us and do them at our home. I am THRILLED at how they turned out!! I'm super glad we did them, and I know they are pictures I will cherish forever!! Thanks so much Errin (to see more of errin's photography she's on my friends list, or at eaphoto.blogspot.com)

Also, I went to the doctor today and I am dialated to a 2 and 70% effaced. I know that this doesn't mean too much, but I am just so excited that something, anything is going on to help get this baby out =) my doctor says we're at the "anytime now" stage, but it still could be 3 weeks... we'll just see I guess! Anyway, I'll keep you posted on the baby and anything else.
